Circles.

I cheated. Today was supposed to be something yellow, but I wanted to do the circle prompt that I missed yesterday because I've been waiting all week for it. It isn't the most visually stimulating picture, but it was good practice in trying to get the color of my office wall to come out at least close to reality.

So, here it is...my new office 'art'!

Seriously, this was the perfect choice for my space. It filled up just as much as I wanted (although I'm going to add two more prints in 4 inch hoops once I find the smaller hoops), but best of all? It is a low budget, low commitment solution!

That's always my problem when picking out decorating solutions, I have too small of a budget to risk getting something that I will hate, or at least get bored with quickly. This cost me about $25 initially, but now that I have the hoops the only additional outlay will be for fabric. And I can change it whenever I want to suit my mood. I can opt for a softer look, for a different accent color, for geometric shapes, for something quirky...whatever!

How cute are these little birds? As soon as I saw them I picked all of the other fabrics to play off of this one.

Now, if only I could finally decide on fabric for the curtains...
